Row of apartments on the left as you entered the new townsite from the road to May.

Middle of  the new townsite looking east.  The end of the recreation (rec)  hall is seen on the left by the sign.  The apartments and rec hall were built by the Government to house mine workers during WWII.

The sign was at the east end of the rec hall.  We lived in the end apartment on the right when we arrived from Stibnite.

The original townsite.  There was a store and gas station on the upper right side of the street and a small bar next to it.  The McPheter’s started a  bar and café on left side of the street after the Bradley Mining Company took over the mine.  Next to it was another bar and dance hall.  The entrance to Patterson  canyon and the Ima Mine is in the background.
